KING GEORGE V.'S BOOKS
Presentation to Dominions (Received 10, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 9. Queen Mary has advised the New Zealand and Australian. High Commissioners that, while sifting a mass of documents at Windsor Castle lihrary relatmg to the reign of King George V., she discovered numerous records and books concerning particularly the Dominions tour of 1901. She considered it moro fitting that they should be placed for sake keeping in the New Zealand and Australian archives, and sent to the Governments. Mr W. J. Jordan, New Zealand High Commissioner, has already been advised that New Zealand will receive a large selection, including a Maori comparative dict-ionary with Queen Mary's signature on the fly-leaf, and "Old New Zealand," edited hy Lord Pembroke, with the Duchess of York's bookplate.
