STUDIOS LEASED FOR H.B. RADIO STATION
A lease is being nOgOtiated for premises in Napier for the offlce and studio of the l'ew Hawke's Bay radio transmitting station which is to be erected at Opapa, according to information received from the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P. for Napier. It is understood that the premises are . in a central position in the town, but their exaet locality will not be diselosed before an announeement by the Minister. A tender for the erection of the residence of the manager ef th§ station, at Opapa, Ms b^n accepted. According to_ Mr BUxnard Js information, which is from the Postmaster-General, rhe Hon. F. J ones, the tenders for the erection of the transmitting station have been extended for a»further period until December 15,
