EXCESSIVE SPEED OF TIMBER TRUCKS
Many complaints have reached the exeeutive of the Automobile Association (Hawke 's Bay) about the excessive pace at which certain trucks carting timber are driven on the Taupo road. The manner in . which some of these vehicles came round corners has been a partic-ular cause for compTaint. At an exeeutive meeting in Napier last night it was deeided to draw the attention of the authorities to the matter, with a view to having the drivers xeminded of the courtesy due to othOr road-usfers.
