DUNEDIN, Last Night. The Dunedin Chamber of Commerce to-night passed a resolution expressing concern. at the provisions of the Primary • Markets Amendment Bill and | expressing the view that it was doubt- 1 ful if the industries concerned would reap benefits ' commensurate with tHe cost of the scheme. In the opinion of the chamber, the Government -control of the majority of foodstuffs was impraeticable and for that reason the marketing of these products was safer in private hands. Tho chamber finally expressed alarm &t this fr6sh evidence of Governmenl eneroachment on private enterprise and . considered that individual effort should i not be robbed of initiative and personal ! interest in producing and marketing.
