U.S. Concerned at Foreign Broadcasts » (Received 8, 8.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 7. Ostensibly referring to - the regular wireless broadcasts to Latin America from the Fascist and Communist coun tries of • Europe, which are' known to be causing concern to ofloicials, the Under-Secretary. of State, Mr. J. Welles, in an address to-day denounded alien propaganda. Mr. Welles etated: "Any attempt on the part of - nonAmerican Poivers to exert thfough force their political • or material influence on. the American continents will immediately he a matter for the gravest concern not only ' to tlie Uhited States but also to every other American. Republic, and appropriate actiou will immediately be determined as a res.ult of .. compion , consultatioiii . among them."
