Anthony Martin and Leah Bay, popular young favourites of the air waves, get their first romantic leads in ' ' Sing and Be Happy, 3 3 with a cast that includes Joan Davis, Helen Westley, Allan Lane and Dixie Dunbar. A lively musical expose of rivalry between two advertising agencies geeking a large radio account, ' ' Sing and Be Happy33 present Martin as a barnstorming orchestra leader who is persuaded by his father, Berton Churchill, to enter his advertising firm. Churchill and Andrew Tombes head rival agencies angling for the Henty Pickle account, controlled by Helen Westley. Tombes 3s daughter, Leah Kay, is working on ideas for that, but unknown to her or to her father, Allan Lane is stealing their ideas and selling them to Churchill as his own. "Good Morning Boys,33 Will Hay3s latest, is the second feature at the State Theatre. In Paris a gang of thieves plan to steal the picture of the Mona Li'sa from the Louvre. There is only one man capable of doing the job, "Arty33 Jones, the English crook lan* guishing in Dartmoor. At Dr. Twist 3s College, St. Michael, is Jones3 son. "Bat33 Higgins, of the Parisian gang, is sent to St, Michael 3s to negotiate the escape of "Arty33 Jones with the help of Jones Minor. Meanwhile at St, Michael 3s school life proceeds under the unorthodox methods prescribed by Dr. Twist. News comes through that "Arty33 Jones has escaped from the prison and Twist and the boys are asked to help in the search. And so the story drifts to a happy ending with the boys at last innocehtly capturing the convict.
