Millions have read of the hilario.us exploits of Alexander Botts, the whimsical and egotistical tractor salesman and comedy hero of the famous series of stories, "Earthworin Tractors," ■nEi Now Alexander Botts has been brought to life on the screen in comedy, "Earthworn Tractors," Which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre to-night (Tuesday). Botts, on the screen, is no other than the famous wide moutiied comedian Joe E. Brown. As Bot.ts, Joe is in love with a small town girl, but she and her family frown on his suit because he is merely selling gadgets. Disheartened he finally picks out the biggest thing- he can think of to sell, tractors. Knowing nothing about tractors, he writes the Earthworm Company aslring for r. job and stating that he lcnows the machine so well he could built it himself. Then the fnn begins, On the same programme will be shown "March of Time" No. 2. SHIRLEY TEMPLE IN "STOWAWAY AND LOUIS-FARR FIGHT. N over .has Shirley Temple been so perfectly adorable as she is in "Stowaway" which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre on Friday. On tlie same proramme will be shown the "Louis-Farr" fi^ht.
