Boat Capsizes' on River

INYERCARGILL, Last Mght. A drowning fatality occurred in the Oreti river last night, the victim being Harold Mafkham Pa'dget, single, aged 38. Padget and several other m6n hqd rowed across the river and were about to aisembarlc when the boat capsized. Padget) "ivho was. weal'ing gum-boots, was not? soen again. Tis body was recovered this morning. He at one time represented Southlahd at Rugby.
