VALEDICTORY

MR. FRANK D0SSETT Mr. Frank Dossett, who fof the past year has been manager of the Hastings Hotel, has left for Auckland to manage a new department opened there by his firm. Mr. Dassett is well-known throughout Hawke's Bay for his association with the Hastings Hotel and previously with the Masonic Hotel, Napier, as assistant manager, and was considered one of the most populai hotel managers in the district. Before his departure he was the Tecipient of a presentation as a token of esteem from the staff of the hotel. His successor, Mr. J. Scott, was for 15 years on the staff of the traffic de■partment of the Auckland City Couneil.
