Meeting in Hastings A rueetiiig of the Hastings committee of tlie Hawke's Bay War Relief Association was beld yesterday. Present: Messrs. F. J, Hull (in the ehair), L. J. Mactersey, P. J. Priest and A. D. Ross. TJiirty-nine soldiers' cases were considered, and assistance was granted in various way, including grants amounting to £96 8/3, and Ioans amounting to £1551 A statement of payments and receipts for the month ' of November, jshowing grants to soldiers and dependents, of soldiers £70 9/1, loans to soldiers £25 19 '3, and repayments received £142 12/9, was placcd before the meeting and approved.
