"I Am Not Afraid," He Declares GERMAN WAR LEADER (Eeceived 2 1.45 p.m.) MUNICH, Dec. 1. "I am not afraid," declared General Ludendorff on what may be his deathbed. General ^udendorff, though an apqstle of the paganisfie Cult of Wotan, is nndeFgoing treatment at the Josephikm Catholic Hospital, where, though he regards the Catholic Church as an enemy of the German race, he is being nursed by Catholic nuns, with whom his relations are most cordial. The medical superintendent, Professor Kielleutner, though he has issued a grave bulletin, has not abandoned hope. He describes General Ludendorff as a wonderfully uncpmplaining patient. It is learned that General Ludendorff is aware of his danger but says: "Nothing in this life can frighten me. I have been through too much."
