GERMANY NOT INTERESTED IN "FAR-DISTANT" COLONIES

The Australian Associated Pre'ss understands on good authority that the Dominions, partie'ularly New Zealand and Australia, need not fear any suggestion that their mandates will enter the discussions regardiug Germany's colonial claims. Although the latest information indieates that Herr Hitler did not mentioa any colony specifically during his talEh wilh Lord Halifax, it is believed that Germany's interest, as already indieated, centres chiefly on North Africa, She especially desires Togoland and tfie Freneh Cameroons. Germany is definitely not interested in those of her former eolonies whieh are "far idistant. ' '
