Ormondville Group
A cominittee meeting of the Ormondville Women 's Institute was held in the supper-room of the- Peace Memorial Hall on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. •H. B. Benbow presided over a good attendance. An apology was received from Mrs. W. A. Trask. Final arrangements were made in connection with the children 's Christmas Tree, to be held in the Peaee Memorial Hall on Saturday, December 18. Mesdames H. E. Benbow and G. S. Chapman were deputed to purchase the toys for the Christmas Tree. The ' secretary was authorised to write to the various firms, asking for special prizes in connection with the autumn show, to be held on Saturday, Fqbruary 26. It was Btated that the recent birthday party has been a pronounced success financially, as well as socially.
