Transport Presents Difficulty

AUCKLAND, Last Night. More than 130 applications have been received by the Auckland Provincial Farmers' Union in response to advertisements for hands in Sydney. However, transport has raised a difficulty, and an. appeal by the Farmers' Union for assistance in this matter is under consideration by the Government. Tho inability of farmers to obtain sufficient labour is the cause of this unusual action.
