AUCKLAND, Last Night. For the purpose of collecting data to be published in a book on world social conditions, a Greek author, Dr. Demetre Mitropoulos, of Athens, is making a leasurely tour of the world, and arrived in Auckland by the Aorangi from Sydney to study New Zealand and its people for a month. "I have heard so much about New Zealand during my travels that I know I shall be happy here," said the visitor. A son of a former Consul for Greeee in Paris, Dr. Mitropoulos is a graduate of Philosophy of the University of Paris.
