A Teacher's Abode
"KOTEMAORI."
Sir, — As one having an interest in Kotemaori, I have to thank the chairman of the Education Board for putting Kotemaori ' ' so prominently on the map. ' 3 But as a young man I was told there were two sides to every question and so in this. Instead of living in a "tent," the schoolmaster has two very comfortable rooms about 8 x 10 each; wooden floor and sides and iron roof and fireplace in one room, an-4 very close to the school-room, which^ after all, is only a teinporary building. As to the lady teacher. Most of the cottages are very small and old, and few have any room for boarders. I noticed the chairman 's "exploslon" copied into six papers, so it may have done good. Thanking you. — Yours, etc.,
Hastings, Nov. 28, 1937.
