It is officially announced that Herr Hitler has relieved Dr. Hjalmar Schacht — at the latter's request— -from the post of Minister of Economies, iu which General Goering •will act until Jauuary 15 o£ next year, when Herr Walter Funk, TJnder-Secretary for Propaganda, will take over the office. Dr. Schacht will remain as President of the Eeichsbank, and will also con-
tinue as Herr Hitler 's personal adviser, as Eeich Minister without portfolio. Herr Hitler has sent Dr. Schacht a letter thanking him for his services and expressing pleasure that he is remaining as President of the Eeichtebanlc and Minister without portfolio.
