EOME. Nov. 27. The Italian Government has authori'sed a heavy increase in the prices of woollen textiles, ranging from 60 per cent. for pure wool and 35 to 65 in respect of yams. Eetailers are allowed to make a proportionate increase to enable their profits fco be aiainfcained. The rate has been tixed as from Sepcember. In 1936 fche importers were compelled to pay the Government an exorbicant rate for foreign exchange needed to imporfc wool from Australia.
