To avoid a collisioii, Mr. Mitchell swerved a little, and as a result thc motor-cycle and car eollided and bot'h crashed into Mrs Ramlose's ear, a general mix-up resulting. The driver of the motor-cycle, Mr. Desmond Wady, of Wanganui, and his pillion-rider, Mr. Clifford Wolland, of Lower Hutt, both Public Works employees, suffered serious injuries, and were taken to the Wairoa Hospita Mrs. Ramlose sustained facial cuts, and her husband and Mr. Mitchell received minor injuries, but after some attention they were able to proceed home, All the vehicles were badly smashed.
