Plane Takes Part at Waipukurau

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Bombs dropping from an aerojilane soaring overhead in a cloudless iky ■ provided a thrill for Waipukurau residents this afternoon when; a bombing competition was staged at the Waipukurau aerodrome. Bags of flpur wero the bombs, these being dropped from the Hawke's Bay and East Coast Aero Club's Moth Major, ZK-ADZ. The plane was pilotefl successivoly by Waipukurau pilots during the com--petition. A number of spectators . watched the proc.eedings from the aerodrome. The plaue circled round and round above the aerodrome at a low altitude and made sharp and spectaeular turns, a number of stunts and loops addiag to the exhibition.
