RUGBY, Nov. 25. An Air Ministry statement emphasising the importance of long-range aircraft to civil aviation and to the Royal Air Force says that the normal evolution of aireraft design in reecnt years has brought about eonsiderable increases in range and load-carrying capacity. It has been deeided to continue this development worl: by making use of the existing typo of aoroplane. Viclcers-Wellesley has been selected for the purpose, and a flight of three aeroplanes of this type will be equipped for the investigation and development of the technique of longrange fiying in relation to both operational purpose51 «"w-a ^ a.eroplanes.
