South American Mystery Solved? (Received 26, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 25. A message from the correspondent of the British United Press at Sao Paulo, Brazil, says that Herman da Silva, leader of the expedition which went to seek Colonel P. H. Fawcett, who has been missing for 12 years in a remote part of South America, has sent a wireless message from the jungle to the effect that he lias discovered that the British explorer died of a tropical fever similar to malaria. The fate of Colonel Fawcett 's son, Jack, and his associates, Raleigh and Rimell, is not mentioned.
