Puketitiri Group The November meeting of .the Puketitiri Women' ji Institute was held in the hall, Mrs. Nicholl8 presiding over a fair attandanc® of members, and also a few visitors. After correspondence and other matters of business were discussed, Mrs. Kauter, as delegate, gave a full account of the recent federation meeting at Greenmeadows, for which she was heartily thanked. ' Afternoon tea was dispensed by tbo hostesseSj after which ,'Miss Nelsongave an interesting demdnstration on organdie petal work. |3he was given a cordial vote of tbanks.for ber talk. Thq motto for the month was, "Act that each to-morrow . find us iarther than to-day." . v 1 The roll cafU, "Poem" or verse learnt at school,". was enjoyed by *all. * ; Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Jensen were appointed to take charge of tbe market stall, to be held at next month' s meeting. The competftion results were ps follows : — Best bloom from own garden, Mrs. Kauter 1, Mrs. Peterson 2, Mrs. Carswell 3. Darn in man's working sock, Mrs. Kauter 1, Mrs. Jensen 2, Miss Nelson 3., Tho singing of the National Anthem brought a pleasant afternoon to a close
