Pukehou Meeting The November meeting of the Pukehou Women 's Inetitute took the, form of a members' day while the general business was attended to. Mrp, Turley presided in the absence of Mrs ' Schultze and later the members elected as their president Mrs Campbell who then took the chair. ' A farce, "If I were elected mayoress of Pukehou" was acted, those taking part beiug Mesdames Campbell. J. Baldwin, Donald and H. Bainbridge, and this was much enjoyed by all. Charades, followed by an item by Mesdames Kitt and Ryder concluded an enjoyable members' afternoon. The motto for the month was "To err is human, to f orgive divine. ' ' Mesdames Loteii and Neave judged the competitions which fesulted as follows: Toffee, Miss Osborn 1, Miss Kitt 2, Mrs Donald 3; papier maehe. Mrs Baldwin 1, Mrs Cullen 2, Mrs Donald 3; best bloom, Miss Kitt 1. Tlie hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Turley, jnr., Phillips, Moore snd Miss Kitt,
