ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

Congratulations on the cxcellent st'andard of the drill and b'andaging of tlie members of the St. John Ambulanee Brigade, Hastings, were extended by the distriet officer of tho brigade, Alr. J. Munro, of Napier, after an in spection last evening. He also congratulated the club on the result of roeent examinations, in which all but one candidate were successful. Evidence of the progress of the brigade in Hastings may be gatherefl from the faet that whereas six months ago there were only six uniform men in the brigade, there are now 11, and a further 12 still requiring uniform. The brigade has commenced a social club which is proving popular, and still requires additional members.
