Hastings Junior Games The followiiig are the fixtures in the Hastings Cricket Sub-Association's junier competition to be played on Saturday next from 1.45 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. 1 SIXTH SERIES. Rugby (Gear) v. Otane, at Havelock. High School B (Gear) v. Havelock, at School ground. Mahora (Gear) v. High School A, Nelson Park, No. 1. Whakatu (Gear) v. Hastings, Nelson Park, No. 2. Fruitworlcers (Gear) v. Hastings H.S.O.B., Cornwall Park, No. '3.At a meeting of tlie Hawke's Bay Umpires' Association in Napier, it .was decided to arrange week-end matches with country clubs. An iuvitation was extended to all cricketers who have given up the game to link up with the association and assist cricket in the Bay. An offer by tbe Southern Hawke's Bay Cricket Association to send senior and junior teams to Napier to play Hawke's Bay on New Year's Day has been accepted by tlie management committee of the Hawke's Bay Cricket Association.
