Development of Cornwall * Park FINE TYPE OF HOUSES A fine tribute to acumen and enterpriso of the Hastings Borough Gonucil r'egarding its development of Cornwall Park was paid of Mr J. H, Handyside," president of the New Zealand Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Federation, this morning when replying to thd civic welcome accorded delegates. "We were very favourable impressed on our visit to Cornwall Park," he said, when making brief mention of the motor drive that was made by delegates yesterday afternoon. "On all sides one heard complimentary reference made cn tlie development that has taken place there, and in the town too, 1 am sure I am speaking on behalf of every delegate when 1 congratulate you on the wonderful jnvention that you have ereated in your watering seheme. "It is quite an innovation and new departure and naturally we were very interested in it," he said. "It is really a matter of congratulation, and the same applies' also to the type of houses you have in your town. Much favourable comnient was made by delegates on their round upon the very fine houses that have, and are being built."
