The Heretaunga Swimming Club will hold its grand opening carnival in the Maddison Baths, Hastings, next Friday evening, at 8 o 'clock. Tho Hastings Returned Soldicrs' re-. union wi$ he held in the Oddfellows' Hall on Thursday next, November 25, at 8 p.m. - The meeting of the Pukahu branch °f the N.Z. National Party, wliich was to be held to-morrow evening, has been cancelled until further notice. The Hawke's Bay Hospital Board invites tenders up to noon on Tuesday, December 7, for supplies of various de scriptions of goods and services at the Napier Hospital and Hastings Memoria] Hospital; also for the supply of rations for outdoor relief for Napier and Hastings, and funerals and ambulances at the same two places. Tenders are foi the year ended December 31, 1938, and forms of tender and all necessary Information may be obtained at the | board 's office, Napier Hospital, or at 1 tho Momorinl Hospital, Hastings.
