Dull Market at Stortford Lodge WETHERS IN MAJORITY Store sheep came back in values at to-day 's sale at Stortford Lodge, when a moderate entry, comprising principally shorn two-tooth wethers, was offered. On all lines there was an easier tendeney, and several pens failed to meet the market. Ewes with lambs at foot were quiet, while young breeding lines met with a fairly good demand. Realisations are as follow:— Sixty-three ewes, with 52 lambs at foot, the ewes aged and mixed" in the mouth, the lambs blackfaces, pasged at 12/-, all counted. A draft of 147 2-tooth wethers, shorn, ' well grown and in fat and ■ forward order, on account of Mr Graham, and in from Haumoana, early shorn, passed . at 24/3. A line of 51 Down cross 2-tooth ewes, met the market at 22/4. " A line of 224 2-tooth ewes, on account qf C. Rosser and Son, Pakipaki, fresh conditioned, well grown and shorn, sold out at 32/9. A line of 105 2-tooth wethers, fresh conditioned, fairly grown and shorn, made 23/4. , A draft of 300 shorn 2-tooth wethers, in similar order to the previous pen, passed at 22/6 and 22/7 in two pens. A line of 148 shorn 2-th ewes, on account of C. Rosser and Son, bred at Puketapu, and wintered at Pakipaki, nicely-grown young sheep, in good order, met with good competition to sell out at 34/-.
