Miller, S-.M, in an action wherc Julia Giles, of Hastings, and Miclrael Gilfedder of Wellington, retired Kativc Land Court judge, claiiiied from Margaret Isabel Cooper, of Hastings, maternity nurse, the sum of £08 9/1 for damages to the plaintiff's house during a lease to the defendant. Damages of £19 5/9 were granted. Mr E. J. W. Hallett appeared' for the plaintiffs and Mr W. E. Bate for t.he defendant. The plaintiffs claimed that the defendant had not complied with the conditions of the lease which was for three years from .September, 1934. Details of tbe alleged neglect aud damage to the property were enumeyated, and damages claimec fcr then». In liis judgment, the Magistrate disallowed claim for keys, beinig satisfied that Miss Cooper had returned all keys in her possession, and grsnted judgment for £19 15/9. -
