CHRISTMAS MAILS
Imperial Airways Plan Extra Services (Beeeived 24, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22. The aeronautical correspondent of The Times states that two flying-boats, each capable of carrying flve tons, jwhich carried out the experimental flights across the Atlantie, will be used by Imperial Airways to help carry Christmas mails to Africa. Other additional flying-boats will also participate. There will be no extra Iservices to Karachi, as the~ carrying capacity on that route has been inereased by the substitution of flying-boats for land aeroplanes. but two extra liners will fly to Singapore and oue extra to Akyab. It is likely that the two Qantas services between Singapore and Brisbane will be duplicated.
