CLAIM UPON SELLASSIE
Service of Writ Refused (Received 24, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23. The solicitors of Leo Chertok, an American who is suing Haili Selassie for £23,000, attempted to serve a writ on tbe latter yesterday, but his secretary refused to accept it. "I simply refused to have anything to do with it," he told the Daily Herald. A friend said that as Haili Selassie is still recognised by the British Government and his own supporters as Emperor it is impossjble to serve a writ on him.,
