Tbe report tbat after jumping froir. an aeroplane above tbe Auckland Domain ou Saturday be narrowly escaped a crash through a glass roof in tbe winter grden was denied to-day by tbe paracbutist, G. W. Sellars. ' • He said tbat tbe aeroplane was flying *at about 2000ft. and tbat he was cabable of avoiding tbe glass-bouse at any time during tbe descent. "My landing on a thinly-wooded slope below tbe outer domain was made purposely," said Mr Sellars. ' ' Tbe dense. crowds on tbe bank and in tbe centre of the ground- made it seeminglv impossible for me to land with--out injuring somebody.
