FREDDIE BARTHOLOMEW'S SISTERS IN FILMS?
Unaware that they may soon be on their Vray to Hollywood and, possibly, a film career, two girl bbarders are studying in the Gonvent of the Holy Name at Tooting,- says a London paper, The Daily Mail Los Angeles correspondent recently flashed this message across the Atlantic: — "Mr Cecil Barthqlomew, father of the boy star Freddie, announced in Hollywood to-day that he intends to bring the boy's two sisters, Eileen, aged 17, and Hilda, aged 15, to the film city to try to start them on film careera," The Motjher Superior of the Tooting Convent snia: "The girls hear nothing of Hollywood within these walls." The message from Hollywood stated that Mr and Mrs Bartholomew intend to live permanently there, but that Freddie, who had appeared at the studios in his first long trousers, "would rather not meet them."
