ORMONDVILLE MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Ormondville Women's Institute was Iheld in tho supper roorn of the Peace Memorial Hall. Mrs II. B, Benbow presided. Arrangements were finalised in connection with the birthday party to be held in the hall on Tuesday evening. It was decided to hold the children's party and Christmas Tree on December 18. At the December aneeting members were aslced to bring two threepenny parcels for the bran t-b. The roll cal'l. "Sewing and darning hints," brought forth a goo'l- response. The bran biscuit competition attracted a number of cntries. Mrs T. G. Hoslcing and Mrs P. Smalley were the judges, and awarded Mrs W. A. Trask first prize, Mrs C Williams second, an Mrs E. Cload third. The coxnpetition for tlie best patch work custion, judged by Mrs Onslow Baines and Mrs Jones, resulted: — Mrs W. A. Trask 1, Mrs G. S. Ckapman 2, Mrs Smith 3.
