Sherenden Group At the November meeting of the Sherenden Women's Institute, Mrs Boyd president. An interesting letter from the Medstead correspondent was read. Miss Leila Ensor, who recently returned from a trip to Fiji, gave a most entertaining account of her travels, which was listened to with great enjoyment by everyone. After a most delightful afternoon tea had been dispensed by the hostesses, Mrs and Miss Ensor, the competitions were judged, the results being:— Best bloom in the garden, senior: Mrs McGrane 1, Mrs Smilley 2, Mrs Doole 3; junior. Miss M. Attwood and Miss M. Matthews (equal) 1, Miss K. Matthews 3. Posy made at meeting in a quarter of an hour, senior: Mrs Gibson 1, Mrs Clarkson 2, Mrs McGrane 3; junior, Miss M. Attwood 1. Home-made Christmas gift costing 2/-, senior: Mrs McGrane 1, Mrs Smilley 2; junior, Miss M. Attwood 1. Most novel sweet container: Mrs Smilley 1, Mrs McGrane' 2.
