VOTES OF CONDOLENCE
Education Board's Tribute • Members of tho Hawke's Bay Education Board stood and paid silent tribute at this morning 's meeting to the memory of two well-kno'w'n figures in educatipnal matters in Napier," Messrs G. W. Yenables and W. J. Martin. Mr Yenables, who was a member of the board from August, 1918, to November, 1924, "took a keen interest in c-du-cational matters, afld gave liberally of his services in furthering the welfare of the children in , schools. Mr Martin "spent most of his teaching years in the service of the Hawke 's Bay Education Board and had always . been. a man of dlxtstanding ability. His kindness and affection for children had always been a help in his work. It was decided to' send- lef ters of condolence to the relatives of both Mr Martin and Mr Yenables,
