(Eeceived 19, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 18. Shortly after their arrival at Ostend Prince Louis of Hesse and his wife, who were married yesterday, visited the scene of the air crasb, in which tlie Prince' s father and members of his family were killed, where tho bodies of the victims are lying in the Cliapelle Ardente. Flowers had been sent from Belgium and many parts of Germany. The Prince superintended the removal of the bodies to Darmstadt. They will lie in state in tlis family mausoleum until the funeral. A search of the area led to the recovery of jewellery flung from the luggage of the Grand Duke's party. The population of Hesse is in deepestmourning and flags are at half-mast. It is understood the Prince will not assume the title of grand duke. It was agreed between the Jleich Government and the Grand Ducal House some time ago that the Grand Duke should assume the title of prince. It was felt that tho title of grand duke might imply sovereignty. The Daily Sketch reports that a twelfth victim of the crash was a child prematurely born to the Grand Duchess. Baron von Eiedesel zu Eisenbach, a member of the Grand Duke's entourage, previously referred to as Freiherr Eisenbach, was to have been best man at tlie London wedding of Prince Louis of Hesse, the lieir to the Grand Duke's title, and Miss Margaret Campbell Geddes. Sir Auckland Geddes said yesterday: "The Prince's family has been practically wiped out, and he is left to faco the situation, That is why the marriage is being lield to-day, entirely privately, at St. Peter's, Eaton Square, instead of on Saturday. 1 ask the Press and public to respect the deep grief of the Prince and niy daughter." Fifty guests, mostly relatives and close friends, watched the bride enter the church wearing black, relieved only by a spray of white camelias. The best man was Lord Louis Monntbatten. The guests include the Jluke and Duchess of Kent, Princess Paul and the Oountess of Toerring, sisters of the Duchess of Kent, the Marchioness of Milford Haven, and Herr von Ribbentrop. Tlie House of Hesse, with its estates in the middle of the Rhineland, dates baclt to the H>th century. With the weading Miss Geddes becomes the rulmg Princess of the House of Hesse.
