Mann, said this morning that it was proposed to paint yellow discs, '2ft. 6ins. in diameter, over all the fire-plugs in Heretaunga street between Hastings and Nelson streets, and also in the intersecting streets between Queen and Eastbourne streets. He pointed out that, under the traffic regulations, motorists were not allowed to park vehieles within 6ft. of the plugs, and it was intended.to take steps to ensure that this regulation is enforced.
