HAIR ORNAMENTS ARE FASHIONABLE
We have taken very kindly to the revived fashion of wearing hair ornaments, writes a London correspondent. Here the Duchess of Kent set the. fashion with her diamond stars, and now you may buy all kinds of decorative diamond hair clips and brooches and slides that look most delightful in the evening. Flower wreaths are much worn, from little round wreaths of roses, perched slightly on one side of the head in demure Victorian style, to rather high flower cdronets. Thesfe may be made of real flowers, or you can have just one or two real blooms tucked in behind the ear. One well-known Parisian designer evolved a rather charming head-dress the other day for wearing with cotton evening frocks. It eonsisted of quills of stiffened pink pique the two quills crossing rather high in front and somewhat lower down at the back, where they looked particularly effective among the curls of the mannequin's head.
