Mrs ' A rfhur Roberts, of North Staffordshire, England, who recently arrived on a visit to New Zealand, is at present staying A?ith her uncle, Mr J. Maudsley Takapau, * Mrs W. Hamilton and her daughter, Mary, of Hatuma, were visitors to Wanganui during the week-end, Mr and Mrs F. Carnie and Miss Z. Carnie", of Ormondville, spent the weekend with relatives at Woodville. Mr R. C. • Grooin, Ormondville, who has been suffering from a severe attack of influenza, is now making steady pro- . gress towards recovery. Mrs F. Duncan and her infant daughter^ of Frankton Junction; aro spending a holiday with relatives at Norsewood.
