Browne, acted as supervisor, assisted by Sister Cuthbert. • Three candidates sat fpr the senior en- , trance examination and four for the junior. . ; Examinations . in . . shorthand, typewriting, bonk-keeping and writing will
be conducted- an - Waipukurau by tne * Wellington Ghamber of Commerce on November 22, 23 and 24. The supervisor will be Mr E. Stiles. This will be the flrst time* such examinations have been, heldk in" Waipukurau. It is necessaryvto hhve' a "ifxinimum of six candidates before an examination centre can be ap'praved. This year there are nine —all p.upils of St. Joseph's Gonvent. In previoiis yearg Waipukurau candidates have had to be examined at Hastings.
