2ZL Programme From 2ZH USE OF LAND-LINE Confirmation of the Government's intention to provide a land-line between Hastings and Napier, for the purpose of broadcasting the 2ZL children's sessions was given this morning by Mr. E. L. Cullen, M.P., who stated that the Minister of Broadcasting, the Hon. F. Jones, had approved of this proposal being complemented when the station closed down at the end of this inonth. lt is proposed to continue with the children's sessions on. Thursday evenmgs as usual from 6.30 o' clock ta 8 o'clock. and it is understood that the studio for these sessions will be the r.ooms occupied by the St. John's Ambulance Brigade in the old Heretaunga Club buildings. The mformation ' available l'ndicates that the last of the 2ZL children's sessions to be given from the present. studio ib Park road under the present owner of.the station, Mr. John Holden, on November 25 next. 1
