Benjamin, reporting on construction work, stated that on the Waimarama line all the main line poles and 11,000 volt lines and substations had been completed, as well as the distribution lines in the township. Thore remained only the service lines to be erected, and this section would be livened up in approximately two weelc's time.' At Marewa block a to^al of 16 poles and necessary lines had been erected for temporary supply and • for the use of the contractorg on the construction of the State houses. These lines would be used permanently for future supply from.a new sub-station to be erected at a later, datc.
