CHINESE IN REVOLT
\ Japanese Being Murdered In Manchuria (Eeceived 10, 8.45 a.m.} LONDON, Nov. 9. The Daily Herald states: — "As the outcome of two months' restlessness, martial law has been declared in Mukden, a city of Manchuria. "Chinese and Korean inkabitants in many towns are in open revolt, and the Japanese are fleeing, taliing all tho valuahles they can. Kaids by Chinese bandits are incessant." "Japanese troops shot down soldiers of the Mukden regiments who twice mutinied. 'IA reign of terror provails in the cities, and Japanese are being murdered every night. The murderers are not apprehended. "The Japanese dare, not traverse the country, except in armed bands. "The risings throughout the country have compelled the Japanese to 4?ithdraw 80,000 troops from north China. "Clashes are also occurring between Japanese and Soviet guards on the Us* suri, which flows north'-north-east from Lake Khanka, in a part marking the, boundary between Eussia and Manchuria."
