(Eeceived 9, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. 7. The News-Chronicle's PaTis* correspondent says: "The majority of the Italian infantry, in accordance with a movement begun three weeks ago, have quitted Spain. Some have gone to Italy, but the majority have gone to Libya. This does not imply general withdrawal, for tanks, artillery, aircraft and technical services remain, ""General Franco, as the Baslpie front had collapsed, politely told Eome that the Italian infantry were not required. "The signature of the anti-Comintern pact marks Fascist preparations for a hnnt for bigger game than Spanish Eepuhlicans. * France views the pact with alarm, realising that - it enahles unrestricted intervention wherever the 6xistence of a Communist party provides a pretext."
