General Items _ at Monthly Meeting . . L/fJD RESTRICT10NS Owing to damage which had occurred it was decided to impos© load restrictions over the wooden, bridges on tho hot springs road, Puketitri, at yesterday's meeting of the Hawke's ,Bay County . Couneil. It was decided that the weight of loads of slabs should not exceed that of milled timber. The council agreed to contribute to the .proposed survey- of the Meeanee drainage district, and suggested that the share of the cost allocated to the Napier Harbour Board Bhould be increased. Tho Public Works Department approved of ,.Mr. F. H. Basten's tenders for the construction of concrete culverts on the Mangateretere-Te Awanga highway. A request by Mr. T. Loo Simcox, of Puketitiri, to f enco a disused motai quarry, was ref erred to Mr. Turner with power to act. The question of obtaining land for a metal quarry in Middle road was referred to Mr. Chambers and the chairman. The couneil was advised by its insurers that r their policy covered accidents to employees travelling in county vehicles during working hours.
