Judging of Officers for Ritual Competition

WAIPAWA, Last Night. At the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity OddfelloWs, N. G. Bro. N. MacPherson presided over a good attendance of members. Tbre'e new candidates were proposed for membership. T'he members stood in silence as a tribute of respect to the meinory of the late Bro. H. W. Sebiey, who had been a meniber of the lodge for the past fifty years. D.G.M. Bro. P. J. Priest and D.D.G.M. Bro. C. White, paid an ofiicial visit to the lodge for the purpose oi" judging the officers in the' final of the ntua'l competition. A hea'rty welcome was extended to theih, and to P. GBro. H. W. Gallagher, who is a past ofiicer of the lodge. The foLpwing nominations for office were reoeived : — N.G., Bro. C. M. Fair j V.G., Sister 1. F. Limbrick and Bro. L. Cossar; E.S., Bros. F. Holt and L.
