Monthly Meeting Held at Napier GENERAL ITEMS V . The monthly meeting of the Hawke's Bay County Council was held to-day; . Presont: Mr. P. ,B. Logan (chairman) and Councillors W. Tucker, N P.' Erlksen, M. S. Chambers, E. H. Beam--ish, B. Harding, G. C. Smith, C.^Lassen, S. M. Palmer and W. Turner. The Public Works Departqient advis•d that endeavours would be made to place upon, the supplementary estimates a sum to provide in giving improved access to Pakatutu station. Thanks to the Council for its exgres- • sion, of eonfidenee weta receiyed from Dr. H. M. Milson. The Public Works Department .adTised that none of the additional main highways applied for had been approvedfl Approval of the tenders of R. Sand- - •rs and Sons for the sealing of the Hastings-Maraekakaho and Napier Park-Rissington main highways was given. The question of fenclng the graves in the Puketitiri Cemetery was rOferxcd to Cr. W. Turner and the chairman. A committee consisting of the chairman and Crs. Beamish and Smith was appointed to finalise the acceptance of a tender for dog-collars for next sea•on.
