Annual Meeting Sees Tote Increase RO.YAL iHINSTREL'S WIN . Tlie Waipaw Oountry Eacing Club'a annual . meeting held at Hastings on Saturday proved. quite a suocessful fixture, wUen the totalisatar turnover ainounted to £7311, being an incfease of £299 on the amount invested last year vhen the meeting was held on Labour Bay. The arrangemente for the meeting were capbaly carried out, Mr A. E.Wishart, secretaTy of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Olub, acting as race secretary. Most of the races saw close and excitibg finishes contested and some splendid racing was witnessed. Details of the coneluding events are as follow:—
